Karlovac hosted the Autumn Conference of the European community of historic guilds (EGS) on 21 and 22 August 2026.
The first day marked the 30th anniversary of the re-establishment of the Karlovac Civil Guard. A festive ceremony was held at the Zorin dom City Theatre, followed by a solemn Mass and investiture at the National Shrine of St Joseph.
On the second day, the EGS Plenary Assembly was held, focusing on preparations for the European Shooters’ Meeting – EST 2027. The programme also included a visit to Dubovac Castle.
